I had never heard of this until tonight, when I was looking for horror movies set at New Year's. A Canadian horror movie that has a pretty solid atmosphere that just about saves it from being boring. Just, it loses me a bit in the third act. The acting is pretty good for an early 80s slasher too. There's nothing Christmassy or even New Year's about this apart from all the snow…

Holy shit! The black person dies first! I found one! The cops are victim blaming dicks but the music fans in this movie are portrayed as weird zombie people. The filmmakers hate punk rock so much, hardly any of the music is punk rock at all. Anyway, the movie is not particularly good with some bad acting and an ending you can see coming a mile away.
The title song is a bop.
In my opinion, this is the best X-Men film since X2. A few observations though-
1) Since when could Kitty do THAT? She didn't show any sign of it in any of her previous appearances, not even when she was two different girls.
2) Anna Paquin has one hell of an agent. Zero lines and is billed before Shawn Ashmore and Ellen Page.....
3) I'm sure Aaron Johnson will be playing a different version of Quicksilver in Avengers 2 but…
