One trope I can’t stand is how everyone in these kind of movies lacks empathy to an unrealistic degree which actually makes it feel more fake and less scary. I think the horror of seeing somebody lose control of themselves is better expressed with people being absolutely helpless but desperate to help, but in many horror movies they’re like “yeah you’re my wife sister mom etc but because of the last 48 hours you’re suddenly a ghost to me”
Amazing last 20 minutes, could’ve been in it’s own short film that would’ve been cooler than the whole movieTranslated from by
