Has some genuine funny moments, but I don't think it really holds up its entire runtime. You quickly get used to its thing, and it becomes pretty one note comedy after that. Maybe if they shaved half an hour off...

A Police Romance 2008
A banlieu cop drama and a relationship drama roled into one.
A strange film: on the one hand you have a small police station vibe where it is all about the personal relations and the toll of the job, on the other there is the heightened tension of balaclava-clad men with machine guns. I appreciate what the film is trying to do even if I feel the execution is lacking in places, mostly in the script. It does keep things interesting throughout.
