  More seriously though the opening act may be one of my favorite horror shorts. Only major criticism is that it’s too long and could be trimmed down to be less repetitive at times in act 2B.

  Besides the gross exploitation of Monroe, this is just plain and simple a terrible boring ass movie that lacks any sense of joy, empathy or energy. 

  The Lynch comparisons also need to STOP!!! Just because a “woman’s in trouble” and there’s some dreamy images DOESN’T mean it’s “Lynchian.” It’s such a gross reduction of his work that ignores the supreme beauty and compassion that underlies all his films. Here it’s just for aesthetic and posturing.
