The Terminator 1984
This movie is almost perfect. I’d give it four and three-quarters stars if I could, only because five stars is reserved for movies titled Star Wars, Miracle, or Saving Private Ryan. But man what a cool and original concept for a story. From an age before Hollywood just recycled old franchises to make money off the Chinese market (including some awful recent Terminator movies; sorry Emilie Clark).

Alien: Covenant 2017
I don’t really get why this movie gets so much hate. Does it completely decimate all cohesion and consistency to the canon/timeline of the Alien franchise? Yes. But don’t pretend like you care about that.
As a standalone film this is one of the best sci-fi-horror-action blends that’s ever been done. You’re either uncomfortable or on the edge of your seat or both for the entire movie. The effects look great, especially the use of modern CGI to bring us…Translated from by
