The Substance 2024
This film interprets deep and dark topics from a wide variety of perspectives. It shows very starkly how lookism ruins women. By emphasizing the body of a young and beautiful woman, the movie also seemed to ask the audience, "You are also attracted to this body." In the final climax, an intense scene that seems to punish the society that has forced lookism takes place for almost a few minutes, and I felt catharsis. Shout out to Demi Moore for her perfect acting.

Watched it for the first time in 2024. It’s a 2005 movie. It’s outdated from the perspective in 2024, but it’s worth watching it just to see Angelina Jolie. She's stunning.

Farewell My Concubine 1993
It was literally breathtaking.
From the first scene to the last, I almost said nothing but gasps. I usually think separately between the story of the movie and the movie itself. But in this movie, I couldn't even separate them: all things were combined perfectly -- a well-weaved storyline, terrific acting and producing, and costumes and props that perfectly embodied that era.
I couldn't think about anything while watching a movie. I couldn't even move.
