  How had I not heard about this before?

  While it's vital and timely and interesting in theory, it's such a shame Nomadland isn't politically braver or morally valuable. Instead it's miserable, uncomfortable, exploitative propaganda with the added bonus of being emotionless and dramatically inert.

  It gets this close to a functional critique of those exploitative min-wage gig economy Amazon fast-food business practices, before invariably swerving away to enjoy a campfire song and a beautiful plain and making sure to place the responsibility solely back on…
