Ender's Game 2013
After reading the book and realizing the potential that this story has, it just seems like they really fumbled the bag here. The dialogue is truly terrible in this movie, it has no flow and just feels very forced. It’s almost like the writers just took the main lines from the book and stuffed them in wherever they could find a spot. Also name a more cringey movie scene than the sparring scene with Petra and Ender, I’ll wait…

Jupiter Ascending 2015
If this movie had one more double-cross it might’ve been good, five just isn’t enough however. Also the idea of replacing dead cells like lightbulbs in order to live forever is really cool, but also our body already does that for us so the entire premise of the movie simply makes no sense. On top of this great blunder, the movie also states that cloned cells don’t work as well as “farm raised” cells. In what universe would foreign host cells be more readily accepted by the human body than directly cloned cells? Who knows, maybe someone like Jackson Fitts will like this movie though.
