I wish I could have joined in their conversation this whole movie. Yelling at characters and such- maybe I was just feeling argumentative- but I think Mickey 17 wanted people to argue with it, I think its purpose was to make conversation.
This move had a lot to express and get through, but it seemed the soul of the message left a little less room for characters to fully be explored. Regardless, I was genuinely impressed. Mickey’s character(s) was (were) ultimately the one(s) that mattered and Robert Pattinson’s performance did not disappoint.
