  A very fun, if very uneven time at the movies. Like all Bong films, the craft is immaculate. The creature design, the cinematography, the production design. It’s all great. Pattinson is so unbelievable good and when we are following his character (which thankfully is 80% of the movie) we are COOKING. Mileage may vary, but none of the Mark Ruffalo stuff really worked for me, but hey, I had a great time and we should all be thankful for new Bong

  Yes it’s ludicrous and highly stylized, but do you know hard it is to make a film this gripping? That holds you for 105 minutes and doesn’t let go? Really fucking hard!! And it does it with great direction and great performances. 

  Love him or hate him, watching TRAP is watching a master at the peak of his game, doing what he does best. Lets go
