The most disappointed I’ve ever been watching a movie. After leaving on such a good cliffhanger in the second movie they decided to just say “pfft fuck that, here’s a five minute scene where riddick explains that he just decided not to deal with it” followed by pitch black for the second time but so much worse. And it’s made by the same director as the first two, so there’s no cop out of “trying to finish someone else’s story”.…

The Chronicles of Riddick 2004
Fucking fantastic! It’s a crying shame that it was so poorly reviewed because it leaves off on such a great cliffhanger for an obvious third movie that never came. In a perfect world we would have gotten the third film it probably would have been just as good, and we remember these as an amazing trilogy, but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be.
