  Directors Cut in 35mm at the Hyland Cinema in London

  Such a good time as ever, and a treat to see the massive cityscapes and beautiful buildings on the big screen. It really lets you take in the size.

  God the practical models and effects work are just so much better than any of the cg we have now in a way I can’t begin to describe. Like it’s such a shame films have moved away from effects like these because they really feel so much more tangible and real.

  Not bad but it really meanders as it reaches Christmas Day, like why did they start on the santa record scratch if Santa didn’t really end up doing much, and I feel like Santa is narrating for kinda no real reason other than to use Brian Cox’s voice more. 
  It was split up like an ensemble but some plots resolved so much quicker than others that it made the pacing really off.
