The choice of using almost exclusively real recordings is interesting when done correctly but falls short in this documentary.
There's massive gaps in the investigation timeline, that were filled with endless uninteresting and unnecessary text message chains.
Whether it was intentional or caused by the stylistic choice I can not say, but it left me wanting more information about the state of mind of the murderer, whilst at the same time terribly bored by the endless Facebook stories and message chains.
