  Terrible, not to mention so fucking White Guy and removed from its political message (which is rammed in there harder than a square peg into a circular hole...)

  Dudes think that movies with “quiet” “”restrained”” performances, funny aspect ratios and horrid cinematography are good... nahhhhhhhhhh. Paul Schrader is not Bergman nor Bresson, and honestly, he’s hardly Schrader at this point.

  Really sick of “jaw dropping cinema”... a shocking ending and inclusion of politics doesn’t make a good movie! Let’s stop thinking this way. Movies are not all about the ending.

  A profoundly lifeless and meandering fucking trainwreck.
  Bad writing, patchy acting, little characterisation to speak of. Not scary in the slightest, even when it tries to throw quasi-jumpscares down your throat. Grating and obviously fake accents. 2006 level CGI. Shoot on location or don’t shoot at all.
  Past episode three it’s just tedious. Unbearably slow and messy, with a continually more fragmented narrative style that just got on my nerves so fast. Flashbacks are fine but Jesus fucking Christ, the…
