  Just a confusing style and take on the whole thing. Overall messages such as how terrible and violent a modern civil war are perfectly valid to deliver. But there’s no story, no real character development, and just an oddly cut together movie. Riveting action sequences but there’s no context. Jesse Plemons scene clears

  And Texas and California alliance against DC? Where are the other states? Who came up with these political divisions? No strategy discussed. To me the movie is marketed as heavily featuring tactics and weaponry. But the movie just ignores that and occasionally you see a cool weapon in the background
