Great acting and cinematography. The way directors choose to frame the picture is brilliant. The cast compliments their characters perfectly.

For the most part the story is riveting, but there are moments when scenes seem to drag. The pacing is what cost it a star in my eyes.

I recommend going to see this film, especially while it’s still in theaters. A good piece of entertainment, especially in this time of uninspired films being pushed to the screen.

Is it unique, not particularly. Is it fun, surely. A more interesting watch in todays America too, where so many are addicted/ reliant on anti-depressants, the film showcases how being medicated is not the only way to confront emotions (of course, not in everyone’s situation). Sometimes, honesty is the best form of therapy. Outside of this interesting mental health perspective the film is your average rom-com, but with above average aesthetics.

There are a few scenes that end too quickly or that drag on a bit too long, which is why…

A really enjoyable and emotional movie. Reflective of how certain individuals combat grief through some form of self-destruction. This is a thoughtful piece, that will most certainly lead you to have some dialogue with yourself about how you approach loss.

Some unnecessary and non-expansive plot points are what bring it to a 4 star for me personally.

If you are looking for something that will hold your attention, and force you to think a little, this is one of those films.
