Downfall 2004
On the 8th of december 2013 I logged my first ever film on letterboxd and I haven't missed an entry since (Having a shocking year, I know.)
The film I watched all those 10 years ago was Der Untergang / Downfall.
Therefore, I thought it would only be right to whack the film on once again to mark this momentous occasion. Not the most cheerful anniversary film, I must admit, but a good watch none the less.So yeah... happy Anniversary to me.
And to letterboxd of course.
Fucking love you.Translated from by

Children of Men 2006
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I must admit that when Theo collapsed dead in the final scene, I couldn't care less. Strange how a film that manages to create such an elaborate and alive world, fails to create interesting characters.
There was the occasional insane action sequences that had choreography and cinematography on another level, which definitely helped the overall experience, but didn't make me care any more for the characters nor the journey they were on.
