Well wasn’t that a punch in the gut. All of the dancing, the jazz and the romance, just to give it all up to play electric keyboard for John Legend in a cap and sunglasses. AND THEN they’re both living the dream and instead of a happy ending we just get to see what could have been? THEY WERE SO IN LOVE. A glance and a smile might have been alright for them to wrap it up, but not for me. Amazing acting all round, Gosling and Stone, wow. But I will be needing 3-5 working days to recover. Thank you.

Frodo the cat for Best Actor 2025. No contest.
Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn work incredibly well together in a film that is overall very enjoyable. I do think they could have done more with the story as a whole, which in the end was just a lot of the same thing we’ve seen in the previous two movies barring a few standout moments, but nevertheless definitely worth the watch.
