Glad none of them fell off the stage. Ha ha. That would’ve been embarrassing…

As someone who loves theatre and acting, this is so darn sweet and warms my heart. Gentle, compassionate, human, and beautifully made, with a perfect score to match. Kind of like a rebranded version of Dead Poets Society if it were set in prison. But, I just wasn’t as locked in as I would’ve liked.

I wouldn’t even be here without you beloved. Thank you for everything.

Had absolutely no clue what to expect from this, but I’m actually really impressed. Surprisingly very funny without ever dimming or shying away from the sinister inhumanity on display. Confident in style and tone with exceptional performances, this is one I won’t be forgetting any time soon, for better or for worse.

This is a front-runner for Best Picture? Fucking hell. The most overhyped film of the year.

An Indian girl supporting Manchester United even though she’s from London… sounds all too familiar. Quintessentially British with a perfect soundtrack that mixes cultures together, and so many brilliant one-liners, but “Jess, I’m Irish. Of course I understand what that feels like,” still kills me to this day. It’s got to be THE most unintentionally funny line I’ve ever come across. Sorry Jonathon Myers for never fully appreciating your game, and to Gurinder Chanha for never recognising you as the icon you are. Fun fact: this was the first ever Western-made film to air on TV in North Korea, slay I guess ?
