I wish I was smarter about movies or just better at articulating how much this movie enraptured me. Something about the shots just felt more real and engaging than most current movies. I knew in general to expect different narratives of the same story, but this was so much more. Two characters near the end have a look on their face that mirrored the face I was making at the end.

Parts of this movie were the funniest things I’ve ever seen. I think its problem came from when it stopped focusing on only being funny and had a story. It just didn’t hit as well as the beginning which was just flat out outrageous horror fun. I didn’t know what to expect, and this was not what I expected, and I’m happy about that! Stifling laughter in the theater was just too fun.
I believe the reason that things seem to be generally better in the UK than the US because a higher percentage of the UK population has seen Paddington
