    The Annabelle trilogy are incredibly special movies to me, because I grew up with them, and more importantly, grew up being terrified of them. This and Chucky horrified me when I was a kid. Once I hit age 12 or so, I stopped finding it - and pretty much horror in general - scary, but I adored it for how compelling it is, and I still do. Boring to some people, but a masterful odyssey in scares to me.
