War for the Planet of the Apes 2017
I think my biggest problem with the concept is the lack of scale. Everything takes place between a few groups of people, is just a series of battles between them. I hoped for more world-building to show how we go from the end of the world to ‘the planet of the apes’. I think each film should have skipped ahead 50 years or so, and dropped the Caesar storyline. Basically do what ‘kingdom’ did, only better.
