This is the best one, it is slow in parts (all the ent bits) but the humanity of middle earth is best portrayed in part 2 (give me more Rohan), and on the whole feels just a bit tighter and more tense than fellowship.

After so long I've been trying to work out why I've loved this film so much since I watched it all those years ago in cinemas. Originally I thought it was the cinematography, acting, tension, patriotism and so on. While these certainly remain true the beauty of what I had watched suddenly hit me.
Dunkirk is a film about men straggling for hope, trapped by every surrounding danger longing to be brought home. Sound familiar?
