A combination of Titanic, Captain Phillips, Lord of the Flies, and Titanic.
Good aspects:
- The progression of Carl and Yaya's relationship. The desert island exposes the true nature of their relationship, which turned out to be just what they agreed: a business venture for self-interest.
- The way that society is presented before and after the attack, being almost identical, since those with more skills and privilege neglect the impoverished.
- The suspense for a sequel...!Questionable aspects:
