One of my favorites. A powerful film about racial inequality in America. Brilliantly written by the two leads and strongly acted, especially by Daveed Diggs.

The film’s climax is a monologue so well done that after watching it for the first time I decided to transcribe it and posted it on IMDb. By doing that, I also memorized it completely. What a scene!

What a masterpiece! The original King Kong from 1933 has a much better flow than the Peter Jackson remake. For its time, the effects are incredible! A charming (aside from the misogyny…), spectacular film!

I had forgotten how good the chemistry is between all these superheroes.

It’s also nice to return to the simpler days of Marvel. I wasn’t sure if I’d still enjoy it as much as I did 13 years ago, and honestly, I didn’t. But there are still plenty of fist-pumping moments, especially in the third act. I had a great time!
