Cool concept, solid execution, but it never had that x factor. Some crazy moments, but also some mid ones. Also, couldn’t unsee Hughie the whole time .

Would’ve been near-perfect if it didn’t throw logic out the window in the final stretch.

Holy shit, this gonna be one of my favorites for a while. It’s shot like an old-ass film, but the cinematography is jaw-dropping. Adrien Brody better win an Oscar for this, dude had me tearing up in the first 30 minutes. Felicity Jones’ character’s pain hit hard, and I couldn’t hold it together, as it affected me on a personal level. Thought I wouldn’t care about a 3-hour movie on architecture, but fuck me, I loved every second. This is gonna be a cult classic in a few years.

Expected something totally different from the cover and the name , however i am not disappointed at what I got. it is kinda overhyped i must say came in expecting way more , but its still really good tho . Jake Gyllenhaal absolutely kills it as Lou Bloom, but damn, the dude’s a fucking creep. it’s more about the "system" than any character’s growth, which I wasn’t expecting. It’s solid, but I didn’t get as hooked as I thought. 4 or 4.5, still can’t decide.
