Be Kind Rewind 2008
I enjoyed this movie far more than I thought of would. I'm a big fan of bts of filmmaker and the techniques used for effects, especially with low budgets films so to have a whole movie about that was really great. The idea that film culture brought a community together was really great and I really liked how, during the climax of the film, it wasn't just their film being shown to the audience but also the reaction of their audience to their film. Overall a great love letter to cinema.

Fallen Angels 1995
I really enjoyed the cinematography and use of lighting in this film. It was cool to see the characters from the different stories interact with each other no matter how minor it was. The music choices were really good too.
