compelling start to finish, and an ending I’ll think about for a while. Very fun. Fantastic debut feature for Mark Anthony Green.
John Malkovich and Ayo were perfect castings, both gave excellent performances.

Delightfully clever and catchy, Bo Burnham is at his best in Inside. This existential angle on comedy comes through and raises some interesting issues while still using lighthearted comedy to make his heavy stances palatable.
However, something feels off. Perhaps it’s the self aware hypocrisy of profiting off of a hyperactive internet special that critiques hyperactive internet specials. Yes, that’s the point. But I’m not sure that absolves anything.
It may also be that a multi-millionaire filming a Netflix special…
