Leningrad Cowboys Go America 1989
Well I finally found a bad Kaurismaki film. This is a C-tier knockoff of Blues Brothers, while still somehow managing to be more stomachable than Blues Brothers, and still being very hard to watch (like anything that would try to emulate Blues Brothers would have to be).

The Three Caballeros 1944
Better than I remember it, and it helps watching in HD for the first time. The endless music and dancing wears a little thin eventually, but there are a lot of clever touches in this along the way, and beautiful animation. The penguin ripping off the shower head and plugging the boat hole, thus creating a natural propeller as the leaking water shoots through? One of the greatest cartoon logic moments I've seen!

Thanks to Criterion I got to watch my first Boetticher/Scott western, and it felt good.
