Glad I don’t feel the need to hate on shit anymore. Undeniable.
If you liked the cinematography check out “Learn to Swim” directed by Thyrone Tommy. In both movies the characters don’t live in straight lines. They are time travelers, constantly revisiting the past. Even the myth of letting go is just a response to what had happened. Imma still keep trying tho.

The Brutalist 2024
Beautiful. The contrarian in me worries this is propaganda but what isn’t. I went to the movies to feel something, and my eyes got wet a couple times so they did their job. A steal @ $14, which in business means you’re leaving money on the table but in art lives among the highest of compliments. I think that’s a piece of my urge to make things. To prove my worth, and maybe raise it in the eyes of the people. I saw that in Laszlo.
