I genuinely really enjoyed "Mickey 17" and had a lot of fun watching it. The films light-hearted and comedic take on a complex ethical conecpt that is biological cloning was great. I also think I just have a soft spot for wacky scifi films and books, so there is definitely a bias present.
The cast was also brilliant. I especially enjoyed Mark Ruffalo's Trump-esque character.
While watching I realised a potential possibility of the films 'creepers' and the planet itself…

Overall I really enjoyed this. It delivered in a way I hoped it would. The whole cast was excellent. Lily Rose was an incredible on-screen presence, probably my favourite element of the film. The other cast-members were also fab.
I thought the world creating was also excellent. Eggers was able to curate such a dark, hopeless world which I’ve experienced in his past films.
