  Gladiator II is a lazy, cash-grabbing disaster that swaps epic spectacle for cheap CGI and washed-out TV visuals. Ridley Scott clearly directed this from a wine cellar, leaving us with random accents, wooden performances, and a plot that’s more telenovela than epic.

  Pedro Pascal spends the entire film looking rather uncomfortable—hopefully, he got paid enough to spend the next few years doing decent films—or taking a well-deserved vacation.
