  This movie was Kurosawa’s attempt to dispel the appeal of Yakuza through painting a picture of the good, the bad, and those stuck somewhere in between.   Such a great movie, good message and fantastic song! I think the animation is great, with all of its beautiful wide shots and it’s modernization is perfect charming. The voice actors are really well fit, especially Sally who gave an over the performance in her song! This is definitely my favorite peanuts special that I’ve seen!

  This is a fantastic movie, where you can tell, the more you watch it the better it gets. The cinematography is excellent, every shot looks like it’s important it was shown that way, because as it turns out- it is. There’s a lot of foreshadowing and almost no jump scares, which really makes the film what it is. I liked watching it and thought it had the perfect blend of a little comedy here and there. I think that this is how people should behave in horror movies- like real people fighting for their lives. Honestly a great movie.
