The Bookshop 2017
i was promised literary politics and a heartwarming story about a bookshop; i got two hours of people being incapable of talking to each other with barely any soundtrack, bill nighy looking old, randomly placed establishing shots of scenery, and dialogue that had my mother and i staring at each other in utter confusion.
this film tries to do so many things and manages to fail on every single one of them.

is horatio a little bastard? yes. would i take a bullet for him? absolutely. 5 stars would watch 7 more hours of this
