  Absolutely repugnant, insipid, and vile. A nightmare. A gaze into the abyss.

  We walked a little further into the forest, through thick vines and prickly bushes. At last we reached the void, vast and unlimited; still, it captivated us. Shadows danced about in the darkness, as if they were hallucinations. Satan waved his hand and the demons began to perform for us. Their show was horrible and grotesque. My mind became numb and all senses retreated into the safety of unfeeling. I was alone. Why did we look for so long?
