  It feels like a Stephen King adaptation written by an English literature undergraduate with a minimal education in the philosophy of religion. Some good stuff but a lot of bad.

  Kevin Costner sounds like mayor quimby in this movie so watch it for that. Also there’s loads of weird and funny sexual tension between him and JFK so watch it now and you’ll never be able to get it out of your head. Apart from that and a couple of really funny moments this film was god awful and boring as hell. How could they take a topic so interesting and make it so boring? Oh yeah and why the fuck do they keep switching from colour to black and white

  I like surreal stuff. I like metaphorical stuff. I like stuff that makes you think.  But this was just incoherent nonsense with a dash of pretentiousness. The film is just a series of things that happen.
