In Megalopolis, Francis Ford Coppola is extremely successful at doing whatever the hell he was trying to do.

The Jacket 2005
I would say the central relationship in the movie hasn't aged well, but I can't imagine it being considered a good idea when it came out.
If you know, you know.

The Black Phone 2021
7.6/10
I was most impressed by how it used deft framing to squeeze a shit ton of tension out of a single room. Every second the boy is on the phone, I got the same feeling down my back as I get when I'm being chased in a dream or a video game.
Also, the little sister is great in this!
Solid solid movie! Good to watch in a filled theater, the audience liked it.
