  Funny games is a well directed, well acted, and well made subversive film about violence in the the media. While the film is certainly smart, elements of the film feel disjointed and out of place. The remote scene, while memorable, comes out of no where and feels a little out of place, as does the blasting of metal music at the beginning of the film.
