This is the horror genre in it’s truest form.
Absolutely bonkers, over the top and insane but also daring and creative. James Wan takes some major risks, some land, some fall flat on their face, but the risky choices the movie takes is something we haven’t seen in decades. As well as that Wan showcases just how good of a director he is with his signature style that solidifies him as one of the best directors of his generation.
An outlandish movie that has flavours of Giallo, 80s slashers and old school monster movies all mixed up in a blender.

Longlegs 2024
I genuinely don’t know how I feel about Longlegs. The film is unsettling in a way I haven’t seen in a long time and it does its job when it comes to getting under your skin. It made me uncomfortable. Very uncomfortable. More so after the film ended and I had some time to sit with it.
