What a slick movie, I expected it from Soderburgh but everyone was so hot in the movie too. Even from the first scene you can tell this is an impressive and intentional aesthetic and they maintain that atmosphere for the whole thing. The way that they play with light as well — hooooweee!

The right levels of amorality all at play but did I mention how hot everyone is? It’s like an episode of Suits: We’re Sexy Spies but it’s actually interesting! You might guess it before it ends, but as with everything else I’ve seen from Soderburgh, the execution is unmatched.

A fun, original flick, a lot more laughs than I thought going in. A perfect lazy afternoon movie where the movie sets the rules and then follows them perfectly!

There’s an incredible amount of depth to this film. It’s hard to describe this perfect combination of childhood coming of age and the quiet collapse of an (much older) other. And then their own familial & loving relationship with each other.

The less said the better, I am sure everyone who watches this has their own unique experience and feelings.

Kicking myself for not watching it sooner. George Bailey is generous, empathetic and gives his all to his town & family.

Anti-capitalist at the core, with a conniving villain - its hard to imagine folks watching this and not see the class divide (a divide which has only gotten bigger) and somehow still be on the side of big business.

Welled up several times in the last 45 minutes. Even though I knew how it would end, I was so deeply invested. It made & makes me think of a lot of different things and I don’t think that will change anytime soon.
