Action man, just nonstop action. Basic, simple, one-dimensional in the sense in that it just gets more and more intense and insane as the movie goes on. Fun cheesy one-liners, and just some whacky cardboard characters. Perfect PG13 fun if you want something to just watch something and enjoy yourself. Colors are bright, explosions are rad, and Keanu and Sandra look cute af. Dope movie.

Man, Verhoeven does it again. Boobies and Blasphemy. Campiness and Cultural Critiques. This movie is an absolutely fun time, especially if you are a devout Catholic such as myself who continually indulges in new perspectives to appreciate the faith and ministry.
Am just saying, this movie is 100% fresh af if you delight in seeing beautiful women tackle important philosophical and theological issues and seeing how the patriarchy and sexuality fits into all of that.
