Mostly boring, sometimes repelling…
I have a somewhat firm line in the sand when i am witness to r*pe or genital mutilation in film. There are films and shows I like which feature this content, but for this it made me uninterested and overall, repulsed.

Subversive and interesting as always…
This review is going to be incredibly vague, as detailing anything past the first few minutes would begin to spoil the mystery. I will be divulging which country the movie takes place in.

I still think about the sound design of this film and how wellcrafted it is. A few too many twists that get in the way of some of the better crafted action scenes, but Henry Cavill and Tom Cruise play well off each other in those moments. Beyond that, there’s a joie do vie surrounding some of the ludicrous action especially towards the end that makes this a favourite of mine.
