The Brutalist 2024
Very dense, but my favorite theme is the relationship between Zionism and Brutalism. Laszlos impulse to build something indestructible, epoch making, resistant to hate and fascism is contextualized alongside the collective practice of settler-colonial statecraft. The film fairly demonstrates the appeal of Zionism while also revealing its impracticality and illogicality, metaphorized through Laszlos insistence on his peculiar architectural vision.

big biopic guy here–I thought this was a great biopic which! soundtrack obv very good but all the audio in-betwen music was fire u can hear his brain work a lil bit and it's disorienting and you can only understand him when he's singing
