Megalopolis 2024
One of the most confounding things you will ever see. The film is as excessive as the subjects of its setting, but one can’t help but admire the passion on display.
This is not a good film, but it has some moments. Were this a four or five hour film, perhaps it would have had time to explore everything Coppola wanted to say. But it wouldn’t make up for the inconsistent performances and dialogue.

Phenomenal epic as expected for Scorsese, however it’s De Niro, Lily Gladstone, and Brendan Fraser who steal the show.
Too much reliance on coverage during too many dialogue scenes for my taste, but when you have a cast this strong, it’s a minor critique.
