  One of those movies that turns you into a cartoon wolf kicking the ground and going AWOOGA AWOOGA the whole time. My new fashion inspiration moving forward is Denzel in this film. Spicy, romantic, and beautiful cinematography. Has a lot to say outside of the romance too.

  Found the writing to be at times really good and at other times very bad. That being said, Sandy B (Sandra Bullock) and Mikey C (Michael Caine) are never bad, and have great chemistry together in this.

  If only this beautiful underwater footage and acting was incorporated into a movie that didn’t scream, “I’m going through a divorce.” The actors, especially Ed Harris makes solid work of a script that was doing them no favors.

  I have a lot of nostalgia for this as one of the first “adult” movies I watched growing up. Fun script, great cast. This movie is probably why Sufjan Stevens is in every indie movie soundtrack/trailer.
