The Cinematography. The acting. The score. Arguably the best telling of this story that there’s ever been. Eggers framed every shot perfectly and accompanied it with a contrast of colors through day and night, a Hitchcock-esque feeling of something behind you or around the corner when there isn’t, the uneasy and internal unrest knowing the vampyre may be close puts you on the edge.
