Batman Begins 2005
I must begin with some context: the Dark Knight Trilogy stands as my favourite film trilogy of all time, for sentimental reasons. I love Batman. I love gritty action thrillers. And this film was released when I was still an impressionable child.
At this point of writing, I have watched Batman Begins probably more than a dozen times. I’ve never done a proper review of it - so this will finally crystallise my thoughts on it.

Absolutely loved the multiple “timeline within a timeline” editing style. Also loved how Nolan made a biopic feel like a thriller with the constant fast pace of conversations. The last act dragged on a bit too much for me though, and his crosscutting began to get tiresome to keep up with, but overall, truly a mesmerising experience.
