I knew it was gonna be bad, but oh God it really sucked. Let’s start by saying that if you’re not familiar with the lore of the games, the movie isn’t going to do you any good. If it weren’t for my younger brother knowing it, I wouldn’t understand some of the characters, like the difference between Freddy and Golden Freddy. Like I first thought it was just some Super Saiyan mumbo jumbo. I appreciate they didn't overuse the jump…

Not as perfect as the first one, but it still works as an excellent coming of age story, about learning to accept yourself and just enjoy life as it is. The new characters brings so much charisma and they connect so well with the rest of the characters.

Decided to watch all of Almodovar filmography in chronological order. His first movie might be what you expect from an amateur B Film. Bad acting, script and production design. There were some extras or secundary characters with some of the worst acting performances I have ever seen. Such a horrible way to represent rape and domestic abuse. The ending doesn't make sense and you feel that there were no character development.

The idea of focusing on the government reaction during a monster attack sounds like a really good premise and I expected a lot from it. However I don't really care a lot about the characters and seems that only boring talking would happen. The only thing that I truly appreciate is the relation between Godzilla attack and the horrific remember of the Atomic Bob. There is also the anti-nuke message that works so well in the times we live in. There's also serious incredible cinematography. However the Godzilla moments are kind of lame and the way they eventually defeat him is anti climatic.
