I wish it wasn't still so relevant, from the surveillance to the class politics to the propaganda to the undercurrent of precarious manhood to how quickly many are willing to excuse heinous acts for the often empty promise of a slightly better life and on and on, but not a single frame is wasted, it never loses its momentum as functioning as sci-fi and action as well, and Roddy Piper excels at exactly what he was brought in to do.…

The Garbage Pail Kids Movie 1987
Objectively terrible, but also there's a tiny alligator man with a foot fetish and the State Home For the Ugly is wildly dark for a kids movie. Not to mention the unsettling unfinished prop faces.
