Big man comes down the chimney soon so it’s time to kick off the Christmas films. Haven’t watched this in years and lowkey remember it being better back in the day. Snape = bad guy. Bill Nighy = boss man.

Blood Diamond 2006
Leo’s accent is kinda whack and don’t think I ever got use to it, but nonetheless the brotherhood that he and Djimon created for SURE plucked on a few heart strings. Especially reinforced when we don’t get that fairytale ending (spoiler!!!). Leo also did The Departed this year, which is just simply a better film. However, still had fun and felt very moved at times.

Gladiator II 2024
A nice watch, but no where near the quality and triumph of the first one. Mr. Mescal looked the part but failed to live up to hype in my honest and humble. Denzel (goat) steals the show (again), the man just oozes charisma. I’m fully convinced he could play a door mat and snag an Oscar nomination.
